THE CURIOUS CASE OF DANIEL M.

urged earlier this week by the news that former RWE copyright Daniel Masuda nach Paderborn wechselt ( wie schon so viele RWE-Spieler vor ihm) und es drängt sich der Verdacht auf, dass der ach so sympathische Verein aus Ostwestfalen nicht weiß, worauf er sich da eingelassen hat.
Nicht zu Unrecht gilt Daniel Masuch als guter, vielleicht sogar sehr guter Drittligatorwart, doch ganz klar schleppt der gute Daniel einen seltsamen Fluch mit sich herum: Für welchen Club er auch aufläuft, am Ende der Saison steht ein Abstieg, mal sind sportliche , mal finanzielle Gründe ausschlaggebend.
Der Fluch begann 2004/2005 und hält nun ohne Unterbrechung im fünften Spieljahr an:

2004/2005 Adler Osterfeld ( OL Nordrhein, am Saisonende freiwilliger Rückzug in die Landesliga)

2005/2006 RW Oberhausen ( Abstieg aus der Regionalliga Nord)

2006/2007 RW Essen ( Abstieg aus der 2.Bundesliga als 2.Torwart hinter Karim Zaza, 3 Einsätze)

2007/2008 RW Essen ( Abstieg aus der Regionalliga Nord nach Verpassen der Quali für die 3.Liga)

2008/2009 Kickers Emden (Lizenzentzug nach Saisonende)

2009/2010 SC Paderborn (……………….)

Noch ist die Ursache des zu erwartenden Abstiegs unklar, wobei ich Daniel Masuch das Ende seiner unheilvollen Serie durchaus gönnen würde.
Dem SC Paderborn würde ich allerdings gönnen, dass Daniel Masuchs Serie noch zumindest ein Spieljahr weitergeht, wobei ich mich aber auch über seine Rückkehr nach Oberhausen oder aber eine Stippvisite bei Fortuna Düsseldorf gefreut hätte.

Im Moment habe ich für die nächste Saison ein ganz mieses Gefühl. Dass Strunz uns erhalten bleibt, finde ich prinzipiell sehr gut, denn die Alternative mit Achim Weber wäre ja nicht gerade bombig gewesen; ausserdem scheint Strunz die einzig richtige Verbindung zur Stadt und damit zum den Themen Stadion, Entschuldung und professionelle Strukturen zu sein.

Wenn diese dann genau so motiviert und nervenstark sind wie die Jungspieler der letzten Saison... Kein Wort mehr von den Topspielern der dritten Liga. Man könnte sich allerdings darauf einstellen, wenn der Verein denn nur mal Wahrheit rausrücken würde, anstatt Hoffnungen zu wecken. Anstatt Topspieler anzukündigen, sollte man ehrlich sagen, dass kein Geld da ist, und man nur solche Spieler holen kann. Es würde einiges "Leiden" abmildern.
Und nun zum zweiten: Unserer Mannschaft fehlt es absolut an Führungsspielern, an Schweinehunden, an Spielern, die einfach mal etwas beklopptes machen! Dann wird ein Erwin Koen im Reviersport genannt, der Interesse hätte, wieder für RWE zu spielen. Kurz darauf lese ich dann im Reviersport-Forum die Reaktionen darauf. Und die bringen mein Blutdruck auf 200!
Da wird geschrieben, Koen wäre zu alt (mit 31!), hätte früher nichts gebracht bzw. wäre von Bilgin und Köhler abhängig gewesen (Bilgin als Stehgeiger konnte kein Stadion zum Kochen bringen; gleiches gilt bei Köhler in dem EINEN Jahr), wäre Schuld am Abstieg wegen seiner roten Karte (Nein, schuld war letztendlich die Verpflichtung von Neuhaus mit seiner unsäglichen Schlafzimmer-Defensiv-Taktik!) usw. usw. Ganz ernsthaft: diese Leute können nicht mehr ganz ........ (ich will keinen beleidigen), fodern diese doch tatsächlich die ganzen oben genannten Perspektivspielern. Wenn es dann halt mit dem Aufsteig nicht klappt... ist dann eben so. Aber lieber erfolglose Jungspieler sehen als ehemalige Topspieler. Ob Koen wirklich an seine Leistungen anknüpfen kann, kann natürlich niemand sagen. Aber es wird ein Führungsspiler gesucht, jemand, der ein Spiel mal alleine entscheiden kann, jemand, der das Stadion zum toben bringt. Das alles hat noch keiner unserer aktuellen Mannschaft geschafft. Wenn sich jemand Red card for anything einhandelt me that's still better than players who have completed the diapers at the first whistle.
